The Diplomatic Academy attracts practitioners of the highest calibre from the diplomatic community, inter-governmental organizations and the legislature from all regions, to its specialized Commercial Diplomatic Practise Course and the level 8 Mandatory Qualifying programme.
The Diplomatic Academy does not provide training or education for a career in academia. As an independent pioneering institution and professional diplomatic body, its chief aim is to provide specialized advanced diplomatic education for qualified practitioners, government officials and members from all regions, through research, development, training and practise.
One of the objects of the Diplomatic Academy is, to unite in one body those who are interested in the unique field through inter-diplomatic forums.
DAE is independent of government and owe no allegiance to any political party.
