Course Details 

DAE Advanced Postgraduate courses have been very popular choices for practitioners who have had little training and want to strengthen their commercial diplomatic capabilities, based on the strong problem-based approach which encourages practitioners and students alike to acquire knowledge as they learn and work, developing appropriate analytical and practical skills which they are able to use instantly in their employment. These advanced courses provide a mix of theory and professional practise through work-based/distance learning, with a heavy dose of tests of understanding (exams), case studies, and simulation.

The following practitioner-oriented postgraduate course prepare professionals as, and enhance the capacity of career commercial diplomatic practitioners. Advanced Certificate of Competency will be awarded upon successful completion of the following internationally respected postgraduate course:

  1. Advanced Certificate of Competency in Introduction to International Arbitration

Duration: Flexible

(6 - 12 Months)

 

Course Cost: £1,250.00 per course

To qualify for Advanced Certificate of Competency upon completion of the nine-module postgraduate course, the participant will be required to:

  • Pass the tests of understanding, final examination questions/case studies, answering more than 70 percent of the questions correctly

Accreditation of Prior Learning

Such application must make reference to relevant areas in which the candidate has acquired professional competence or relevant courses completed. 

 

Study Material

Full Course Material is provided free of charge to registered practitioners/students on the understanding that the study material will be used for study and not for a commercial purpose.

 

The Postgraduate Certificate Course

These Advanced courses are particularly relevant for commercial diplomacy practitioners, members of the judiciary (commercial judges), legislators, commercial bankers, and or commercial lawyers in government offices and private law firms. Each of these intensive postgraduate courses consists of (minimum) nine advanced specialized modules designed by experts and specialists. Participation is open to qualified practitioners on all continents, most especially officials from countries dealing with claims introduced by foreign investors and with the conduct of international trade, investment and commercial arbitration, or wish to gain professional experience, understanding of commercial diplomacy.
